Rachel Brask to exhibit in Pawtucket’s Foundry Show Dec 1-4, 9-11, 2022

Rachel Brask will be a first-time exhibiting artist in The Foundry Show 2022, located at the Pawtucket Armory the first two weekends in December 2022. Her oil paintings depicting the colorful and expressive views of rainy days will be available in various sizes from as large as 30×40″ to as small as 3″x4″ mini paintings, along with limited edition reproductions and cards.

Admission is FREE, parking is FREE nearby, to browse and shop artwork and fine craft by over 60 artists, no sales tax charged. In lieu of an admission fee, visitors are asked to bring a canned good or goods to help support the Rhode Island Food Bank.

All artwork and purchases can be cashed out at the central register, or directly with each booth’s artist if they are attending. Artists from the Foundry will be available around the show for assistance and to answer questions.

Silent Auction

Over the years, the Foundry Artists Association has raised money for a variety of worthy causes. We invite you to participate in our silent auction by bidding on a variety unique pieces including handmade clothing, jewelry, glass, ceramics from each of the Foundry Artists. The beneficiary of our 2022 Silent Auction is New Urban Arts.

Bidding for 2022 Silent Auction ends at 6pm on Sunday, December 4th. Winning bidder will be contacted on Monday, December 5th.

Rachel Brask has been selected as an artist to exhibit in the 24th Boston International Fine Art Show, one of just two independent Rhode Island artists juried into the Emerge Salon of this fine art show. She will be exhibiting oil paintings in the Emerge Salon (front space by entry stairs), Booth 4S. Brask will have a range available of her signature rainy window paintings, including several brand new ones from the “Montana Rains” collection. The other RI artist juried into the Emerge Salon is Nick Paciorek, a talented Fauvist painter. This fine art show features 40 galleries and 15 juried artists. Learn more about Rachel Brask.

THURSDAY 10/20, 5:30-8:30pm: Opening Night Gala Preview:  This is a 21+ event, cocktail attire, valet parking available. Rachel Brask at Seekonk Open Studios 2022

Rachel Brask will be participating in Seekonk Open Studios 2022. She will be providing live painting demonstrations throughout the weekend of October 1 & 2, 11am-4pm Saturday & Sunday. She will be located at the stop at 49 Perrin Avenue, Seekonk, MA, along with two other demonstrating artists, Beth Goulet and Rachel Chevrette.

This family-friendly self-guided tour of artist studios throughout Seekonk, MA features 8 stops and 21 artists! Meet the artists, learn about their processes, in some cases see their actual workspaces, and see art in the making!

Brask to show at AS220 Main Gallery Nov 2018

Rachel Brask and Jennifer Gervais will take over the AS220 Main Gallery with an exhibition of each of their respective works. This exhibition will be on view November 3-24, 2018, with an opening reception on Saturday, Nov. 3rd 5-7pm. 

Rachel will exhibit a selection of oil paintings from her Abstracted Rainy Moments series of paintings inspired by the view through a window during a rainstorm. This exhibition will include the first public gallery showing of 10+ paintings created during her art residency in Maine this past summer. Many of these paintings are inspired by the changing daylight reflected over the harbor in sunrises and sunsets, and through photos she took while exploring Acadia National Park and the harbor.

 

Rachel Brask in Seekonk Open Studios

Rachel Brask will be participating in the Seekonk Artist Network’s Seekonk Open Studios, a two day event featuring over 20 artists in 11 locations throughout Seekonk, MA on Saturday & Sunday Oct. 13-14, 11am-4pm each day. Brask, an alumni member of Seekonk Artist Network (SAN), will showcase her recent paintings from a residency in Maine along with LIVE painting demonstrations all day on both days at 116 Read Street,  Seekonk MA.

Rachel Brask Art at The Looff 2017

IMG_2224Rachel Brask Artworks will again be participating in The Looff Art Festival on Saturday, August 12, 2017, 11am-6pm. This fantastic art festival is held at the historic Looff Carousel at Crescent Park in Riverside (East Providence), RI. The art festival boosts live music performances throughout the day, food trucks, and many fine art and craft vendors.

Rachel Brask Artworks will be present with a booth including selections from the Abstracted Rainy Moments series, along with some other earlier abstract paintings and prints. She’ll also be at her easel, painting LIVE throughout the day.

This event free and open to the public, no admission charged.
